Joined Wipro Technologies on 18th December 2006. Kind of mixed emotions , as a pre requisite of joining any big company as an Information Security Consultant would invariably would mean lots travelling and that too abroad for months at stretch. This would mean working away from Simar. I was quite a respectable chap enjoying lots respect from both peers and Senior management in Perot Systems. But sometimes man thinks of moving ahead in career and life !
And so my first assignment came in through, an Identity Management project in Nottingham , UK for a big Financial Institution. Accepted the challenge though heavy hearted as I will be away from my family for 3 months. This would essentially mean lots pressure to Jas as she has to cope up with both work and Simar tantrums at nights.
I am curretly in Nottingham and the assignment has started not with that flare and flow whihc I had expected and planned it to be. Curretly this role as a Project manager and team lead is taking quite a toll on me and testing the patience.
Jas has taken up a brave front though she sometimes scolds me for not being with her since I had gone to France not so long back before heading to Nottingham . I am planning and god willingly Jas and Simar will come to Nottingham in April and we will then have loads of fun.
Spending weekend in gloomy English weather is never one wish for !!!!!
